Repeater return with new album. Advance track: ‘Lonely’.

Long Beach’s finest Repeater reveal that their new album will be a self-titled pop record. A taster can be found on opening track, and soon to be single, ‘Lonely’. The clues were already there with the Golden Ships EP but the move away from their angst-ridden post-punk sound remains a bold one. Head man Steve Krolikowski reveals. “It’s a reflection on love, and the selfish feelings that prevent us from loving sometimes. The past creeps in and hangs a few clouds on the horizon, but they are phantoms, nothing more. Repeater’s last full-length release was heavy darkness with a pinhole of light. Now the shutters are wide open.”

We at [sic] Magazine cannot wait. Repeaters previous releases have all reviewed strongly with previous album We Walk From Safety reaching the Editors album of the year in 2011.

Repeater is slated for a November 18 release. ‘Lonely’ is generously made available to stream and download from Purevolume.
