Girl Detective is a Chicago duo creating original, alternative and experimental music with a lush and cerebral postmodern / altrock sound. Early 80s influences are abundant – Depeche Mode, New Order, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, The Smiths – dark, enveloping sounds with a femme fatale singer, they could be ones to watch.
