Ian Curtis – The Untold Story
After decades of dignified silence Annik Honoré spoke to Belgian journalists about her relationship with Ian Curtis . All the books, all the photographs and films, tell the Curtis story in more or less the same way. Yet Annik knew a whole other side, a whole other aspect to the subject but never once sought to exploit that nor betray the deep friendship/love she once shared with the troubled Joy Division frontman.
In a frank, personal and revealing interview, Honoré spoke of her time with Ian, his untimely death and what happened thereafter. The interview, originally for Belgian Press, has been translated into English by Carine Hubrechts , photographer and author of the blogspot All Around Luna .
